I am a research associate (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) at the Research Center "Normative Orders" and the Department of Political Science at Goethe University Frankfurt. My work is in the fields of International Relations Theory and International Political Sociology. In my current research, I explore the changing relationship between diplomacy and warfare from a practice-theoretical perspective. I hold an MA in Political Science from the University of Munich, an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and in 2017 received my PhD in Political Science from Goethe University Frankfurt. From 2018 to 2020, I was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellow (postdoctoral research fellow) at Columbia University and Goethe University Frankfurt. My research has been published, amongst others, in International Studies Quarterly, International Theory, and German Political Science Quarterly.
